The following terms and conditions govern all use of the AstroBeans website and all content, services, and products available at or through the website, including but not limited to the AstroBeans Vedic Astrology API services (Kundli generation, matchmaking, Dosha calculations, Panchang creation, and horoscopes), taken together as the "Services." The Services are offered subject to your acceptance without modification of all of the terms and conditions contained herein and all other operating rules, policies, and procedures that may be published from time to time on this Site by AstroBeans (collectively, the "Agreement").
Please read this Agreement carefully before accessing or using the Services. By accessing or using any part of the website, you agree to become bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this Agreement, then you may not access or use the Services.
If you create an account on the Services, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with it. You must immediately notify AstroBeans of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security. AstroBeans will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.
You must be a human. Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted. You must provide your legal full name, a valid email address, and any other information requested in order to complete the signup process. Your login may only be used by one person — a single login shared by multiple people is not permitted. You may create separate logins for as many people as your plan allows. You may not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Services, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright or trademark laws).
Optional paid services such as extra API capacity are available on the Services (any such services, an "Upgrade"). By selecting an Upgrade you agree to pay AstroBeans the monthly or annual subscription fees indicated for that service. Payments will be charged on a pre-pay basis on the day you sign up for an Upgrade and will cover the use of that service for a monthly or annual subscription period as indicated.
By signing up for an AstroBeans account you agree to pay AstroBeans the monthly fees indicated at the time of registration in exchange for the Services. Applicable fees will be invoiced starting from the day your paid account is established and in advance of using such services. AstroBeans reserves the right to change the payment terms and fees upon thirty (30) days prior written notice to you.
Refunds: If you are not satisfied with the quality of our API responses or technical integration, you may request a refund within 24 hours of your initial payment by emailing contact@astrobeans.com with the subject line "Refund Request," along with your Order Number, API Key, and a detailed explanation of the issue. Refunds are not applicable to "Pay-as-you-go" credits once they have been partially consumed.
Cancellations: You may cancel your monthly or annual subscription at any time by emailing contact@astrobeans.com with the subject line "Cancellation Request." Upon cancellation, your API access will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused portions of a billing month, and you will not be charged for the subsequent cycle.
Please keep your billing information updated to ensure uninterrupted service. AstroBeans will send automated notifications before your subscription expires or if a payment fails. Failure to renew will result in the temporary suspension of your API Key. It is the Client's responsibility to ensure the subscription remains active to avoid service downtime on their own platforms.
AstroBeans includes access to email support, meaning the ability to make requests for technical support assistance by email at any time, with reasonable efforts by AstroBeans to respond within one to two business days concerning the use of the Services. If you encounter any bugs, calculation discrepancies (in Kundli or Panchang), or integration issues, please reach out immediately at contact@astrobeans.com. All support will be provided in accordance with AstroBeans standard practices, procedures, and policies.
Customers may access their AstroBeans account data via an API (Application Program Interface). Any use of the API, including use of the API through a third-party product that accesses AstroBeans, is bound by these Terms of Service. API access is restricted via unique API keys. Clients are responsible for keeping their Secret Key secure. All data transmitted to and from the API is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS 1.2+.
Use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. AstroBeans acts as a pass-through service and does not store the personal identity of your End-Users. Birth data sent via API is used solely for calculation purposes and is deleted or anonymized after the response is delivered, unless a specific caching feature is requested by the Client. API request logs (without personally identifiable information) are retained for 30 days for security and troubleshooting purposes.
As a Client, you are responsible for maintaining your own Privacy Policy informing End-Users that their birth data may be processed by third-party service providers, and for obtaining the necessary consent from End-Users before sending birth details to the API.
As a paid customer, you grant AstroBeans a perpetual, world-wide license to use your company's assets and logos for marketing and sales purposes (such as being displayed on the home page), unless AstroBeans agrees in writing otherwise.
This Agreement does not transfer from AstroBeans to you any AstroBeans or third-party intellectual property, and all right, title, and interest in and to such property will remain (as between the parties) solely with AstroBeans. AstroBeans, the AstroBeans logo, and all other trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used in connection with AstroBeans or the Services are trademarks or registered trademarks of AstroBeans or AstroBeans licensors. Other trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used in connection with the Services may be the trademarks of other third parties. Your use of the Services grants you no right or license to reproduce or otherwise use any AstroBeans or third-party trademarks.
As AstroBeans asks others to respect its intellectual property rights, it respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that material located on or linked to by AstroBeans violates your copyright, you are encouraged to notify AstroBeans at contact@astrobeans.com. AstroBeans will respond to all such notices, including as required or appropriate by removing the infringing material or disabling all links to the infringing material. AstroBeans will terminate a visitor's access to and use of the Services if, under appropriate circumstances, the visitor is determined to be a repeat infringer of the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of AstroBeans or others. In the case of such termination, AstroBeans will have no obligation to provide a refund of any amounts previously paid to AstroBeans.
Our Services are designed with global standards in mind, including GDPR and DPDP Act (India) principles, ensuring that data processing is limited to the specific purpose of generating astrological insights.
