AstroBeans ("we," "us," or "our") provides Vedic Astrology API services, including Kundli generation, matchmaking, Dosha calculations, Panchang creation, and horoscopes. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when businesses, individual astrologers, and pandits ("Clients") integrate our APIs into their platforms.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in two capacities: as a Data Controller (for our Clients) and as a Data Processor (for the End-Users of our Clients). Client Information: Name, business email, billing address, payment details, and API usage logs. End-User Data (Processed via API): To generate astrological reports, we process birth data provided by the Client, including:

• Date of Birth
• Time of Birth
• Place of Birth (Latitude/Longitude)
• Gender (for matchmaking/specific calculations)

3. How We Use the Data

To Provide Services: Calculating precise planetary positions and generating astrological outputs. API Optimization: Monitoring latency and error rates to ensure high uptime for your business. Billing & Support: Managing subscriptions and responding to technical queries.

4. Data Retention and Storage

Input Data: AstroBeans typically acts as a "pass-through" service. We do not store the personal identity of your End-Users. Birth data sent via API is used solely for the calculation and is deleted or anonymized after the response is delivered, unless a specific caching feature is requested by the Client. Log Data: We retain API request logs (without PII) for 30 days for security and troubleshooting purposes.

5. Data Security cookies

We implement industry-standard security measures, including:

Encryption: All data transmitted to and from our APIs is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS 1.2+.

API Keys: Access is restricted via unique API keys. Clients are responsible for the "Secret Key" safety.

Access Control: Internal access to server logs is strictly limited to authorized engineering staff.
